Another big difference to bear in mind with the Series 3 and Series 4 is that the Apple Watch Series 4 will be compatible with watchOS 9 that comes out in the autumn. The Series 3 will only be able to run watchOS 8, so if you want the latest features from Apple you may want to choose a Series 4.
