Shop the refurbished iPad 6 and get a powerful tablet that uses the Apple A10 Fusion chip, can take great photos and even use augmented reality! All in Good or Very Good condition, you can pick up the iPad 6 for as little as £170.

iPad 6 Review

The iPad 6, which you may have heard referred to as the iPad 9.7 or the iPad 6th generation, was released in March 2018. It’s ideal for people that want a powerful tablet but don’t want to spend the money on an iPad Pro, because it costs less but still has the A10 chip and Apple Pencil compatibility.

This iPad has a 1536 x 2048 pixel resolution, which is more than enough for watching Netflix and browsing the web. Users have also reported low screen reflectance, which is great when you’re using your iPad outside or when there’s a bright light behind you.

The camera on the iPad 6 has lots of different modes for you to play with – including super-slow-motion footage, timelapse and panoramic photos. The 1.2MP front-facing camera offers clear enough video conversations on FaceTime or Zoom, too.

Is the iPad 6 outdated?

Whether the iPad 6 is outdated depends on exactly what you mean. The 6th generation iPad isn’t the newest iPad out there – the iPad 9 was released in 2021 – but it still receives updates and all the latest features from Apple. A refurbished iPad 6 is upgradable to iPadOS 15.5, and will be compatible with iPadOS 16 that will be released in autumn 2022. So the iPad 6 isn’t outdated – you can still do everything you want to do on this iPad from 2018, and we think that it’s still worth buying the iPad 6th generation in 2022.
